According to authorities, the incident took place at a local retail store where Widara allegedly tried to pay with fake currency. Store staff became suspicious and quickly reported the matter to the police. Upon investigation, officers confirmed the money was counterfeit and detained the 32-year-old actress at the scene.
Police spokesperson Commissioner Andi Rahman stated, “We are currently investigating the origin of the counterfeit bills and whether this is part of a larger scheme.”
